About This Program

The LEAP Program can help by providing FREE vocational training and job placement assistance. OIC of South Florida is a workforce development, reentry leader with over 19 years of experience helping returning citizens. Please send an Inmate Request to either your Classification Officer or your Education Department for more details.

The participants of this program are provided with FREE services that will help justice-involved individuals:

  • Assess Career Pathways and Academic Counseling Requirements
  • Attain Industry-Recognized Certifications
  • Obtain Long-term Employment
  • Receive Community Partner Referrals for Housing, Substance Abuse & Mental Health

WHAT IS REQUIRED TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS PROGRAM?

Participant must be at least 18 years of age. Resides, at time of enrollment in the LEAP program, in a State Correctional Facility. Scheduled to reside, upon release, in Broward County or Miami-Dade County and is legally eligible to work in the US.
