About This Program

OIC of South Florida’s The Pathways program serves 170 economically disadvantaged, Broward County residents (18 years or older) seeking to align their career interests and skill-sets with in-demand career paths, vocational training, and job placement assistance. This program provides the necessary training and comprehensive support services for participants to create, map, and advance along a career pathway toward successful integration into the workforce and society. This program also strengthens families by building the knowledge, skills, and abilities of participants to access services that support financial independence and family stability. Thus, promoting a safer and more economically viable community.

The Overall Goals of The Pathways Program Includes:

  • Work Readiness & Vocational Training
  • Job Placement Assistance
  • Life Skills & Support Services
  • Housing Referrals
  • Other Supportive Services (e.g., Transportation Assistance, Interview Clothing, etc.)
