Teen Pregnancy Prevention
FreeAbout This Program
OIC of South Florida’s Teen Pregnancy Prevention (TPP) program, also known as Project P.A.U.S.E. (Prevent, Achieve, Understand, Succeed, and Educate), serves 4,500 middle and high school aged youth annually. Since 2004, this program has helped youth prevent pregnancy and the contraction of STDs and HIV/AIDS. Students not only understand the risks associated with unprotected sex, but are equipped with solid decision-making skills that promote post-secondary education and career preparation. Project P.A.U.S.E. prepares students to become tomorrow’s leaders through its Youth Leadership Council. This program also encourages youth to…
- Pause before acting
- Pause to develop a plan that supports their future and the future of their community
- Pause to educate themselves and those around them
- Pause to effectively mobilize their peers and the community around positive action
Join us and pause from the distractions around you to make a difference!
Funded by the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Adolescent Health.
