As a result of our dedicated staff, over 10,000 residents of South Florida have obtained employment and are contributing residents. OIC of South Florida is also impacting over 6,000 youth annually through our career-preparedness initiatives. Our Reentry programs have even been highlighted on CNN and were instrumental in securing the Honor of Hope award from the White House Office of Faith and Community-based initiatives.
Our business practice of humanizing the numbers ensures that OIC of South Florida is providing our students with: Industry- recognized certifications for in-demand careers, and customized supportive services like childcare assistance, housing referrals, legal assistance and outpatient substance abuse treatment. We track our success through contractual and mission-driven outcomes that are prescribed by cohorts served on an annual basis. Our collaborative efforts lead to stable communities and, ultimately, disrupting generational poverty.
