Social Integration Division

Meeting The Needs of the Business Community

OIC of South Florida’s Strategic Integration division is a for-profit social enterprise that expands workforce options by offering job training and transitional employment. In partnership with Broward County Transit, the Transitional Employment Pilot Program provides opportunities for returning citizens, individuals with disabilities, and residents of Broward Municipal Services District. The program has contributed to improvements in Broward County Transit bus cleanliness, graffiti removal, and sidewalk cleaning.

Additionally, the division offers clients enrolled in workforce programs a chance to gain work experience and earn transitional income. The Strategic Integration unit currently fulfills the statements of work for contracts in the areas of janitorial services and grounds maintenance services. 

As a social enterprise, we reinvest a majority of our profits to achieve sustainability, grow our reach and ensure the fulfillment of our mission.
