Meeting The Needs of the Business Community

OIC of South Florida’s Social Enterprise division (i.e., OIC Strategic Integration) is a for-profit division that expands workforce options. Social Enterprise division supports the needs of our clients and the business community. The Social Enterprise’s Transitional Employment Pilot Program was implemented in partnership with Broward County Transit (BCT) to provide job training and employment opportunities. The targeted demographic of the program is for returning citizens, individuals with disabilities, and residents of the Broward Municipal Services District (BMSD). In just two years, the program’s success has attributed to improving the cleanliness of BCT buses and shelters, graffiti removal on traffic engineering equipment, and sidewalk pressure cleaning.

As a social enterprise, we reinvest a majority of our profits to achieve sustainability, grow our reach and ensure the fulfillment of our mission.
