Serves 100 disengaged/drop-out students (16 -24 years of age) within Broward County. In an alternative high school setting, this “earn while you learn” program provides students with on-the-Job training in construction, while obtaining a high school diploma and industry-recognized Construction certification. Additionally, students receive hands-on experience (in partnership with Habitat for Humanity Broward) and job placement assistance.
YouthForce
Serving 75 middle school aged youth throughout Broward County annually. The Youth FORCE initiative is designed to promote friendship, provide opportunities and resources, encourage community involvement and support education. The program includes academic support, case management, career exploration, and youth development activities.
