OIC of South Florida hosts an Open House at our Broward Office every 1st and 3rd Tuesday at 3 p.m. (3407 NW 9th Ave, Suite 100, Oakland Park, FL, 33309) of each month.
This invitation-only event is open to a limited number of candidates who complete the form below.To be considered, please read and follow the steps provided, then submit the form.
Step 1: Explore Training Pathways

Step 2: Confirm Your Eligibility
To ensure you're on the path to success, you’ll need to provide a few required documents in advance of the Open House:
- Valid Photo ID (with current Broward or Miami-Dade address) - Proof of U.S. Citizenship or Work Authorization - High School Diploma or GED (If not available, we’ll schedule you for an academic skills assessment) - Social Security Card
Be sure to submit your documents to our Broward Office (3407 NW 9th Ave, Oakland Park, FL 33309) or online by emailing admissions@oicsfl.org
All documents must be received the Wednesday before Open House to be considered for an invite.
Step 3: Take Assessments & Interest Inventory
Once your required documents have been approved, you’ll be invited to take non-graded, pre-enrollment assessments. These help us better understand your strengths and career interests, so we can guide you to the program that fits you best. If the results show you might benefit from additional support, we’ll work with you to explore the right next steps.
Step 4: Open House & Program Enrollment
Get to know us! During the Open House, you’ll meet the OIC team, tour the training facilities, learn about our programs and begin mapping out your journey to success. Attendance is required for program enrollment.
Before starting your chosen program, you’ll complete our Employability Skills & Digital Literacy courses — essential foundations to help you succeed in today’s job market. You’ll also earn the Florida Ready to Work Credential.
Step 5: Employment Assistance
The final step in your journey with us is connecting with an employment specialist after completing your chosen program. Our team is here to support and guide you in seeking employment.
From this point on, you’re not just a student—you’re part of the OIC family. And as family, we’ll be with you every step of the way.
